We make plans as though time is unlimited. We postpone important conversations, delay our dreams, and assume there will always be another opportunity. But there isn't always another opportunity. The reality of death can be uncomfortable, but it can also teach us something about life. If Life Is Temporary, Then Time Matters We often treat time as though it is something we can replace. We can replace money. We can replace possessions. We can sometimes repair relationships. But we can not recover yesterday. Once a moment has passed, it belongs to the past.
